I’m Asa Kittner, an early career illustrator and visual designer based in Berkeley, California, creating vibrant and thoughtful visual storytelling.

My work moves between a clean graphic style for infographics, technical illustrations, and iconography, to a more painterly style suited for conceptual narrative storytelling. As an illustrator I enjoy communicating ideas and making engaging images, and as a designer I enjoy identifying problems and finding effective solutions. Putting my skills together allows for work that is visually engaging, well-crafted, and practical. I received a BFA in Illustration with distinction from California College of the Arts in San Francisco. 

I’m currently working as a visual designer at Optics Lab.
